From a young age I have always felt a special connection to dogs. As a child I loved hanging around my families dogs, trying to get them to perform commands and tricks. When I first saw the dog whisperer on TV I decided I could train my aunts little dog to stop biting me when I wanted to pet him. I did everything wrong and only accomplished getting a hand full of dog bites, but looking back I guess you could say my whole life has been leading  to this career. 

At 17 I got my first paycheck and about a week later I adopted a dog, which was soon followed by a puppy a few months later. Shortly after that, I quit my job and started working as kennel staff at a top rated board & train kennel in westchester. There I found myself working with an amazing array of dogs in an open group environment. During the busier seasons I could care for over 50 dogs at a time and I actually enjoyed my job. After working there for a while I talked with the head trainer who recommended I go to Starmark Academy for professional dog trainers all the way near Austin, Texas. 

There all the dots really connected for me. I got to work with highly experienced people from diverse dog training backgrounds. I learned everything from how to properly hold a leash to the process of training police k9s and detection dogs to competition dog sports. It was a complete transformation for me. After returning I apprenticed under some local New York City trainers and helped train dogs at local rescues. 

Finally I decided to start my own business dedicated to people just like me who are passionate about their dogs but might not have all the knowledge or tools necessary to build a successful relationship.
